  • Manages one or more compensation team members

  • Partner closely with the global compensation team members involved with execution of compensation programs across the enterprise 

  • Lead development and coordination of Compensation Committee materials.

  • Partner with Compensation Consultants to ensure timely delivery of accurate materials to the Compensation Committee

  • Exhibits extensive awareness and knowledge of executive compensation conditions, including current and future trends, ongoing legislation affecting executive compensation, and monitor applicable SEC, accounting and tax regulations to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

  • Conduct ad-hoc compensation analyses and research projects. Identifies and seeks multiple data-points to evaluate and assess effectiveness of executive compensation programs.  Evaluate executive positions and develop appropriate compensation recommendations.

  • Exhibits strong familiarity with tax rules and financial regulations relevant to executive compensation.

  • Assist with the completion of the CD&A, proxy materials, 10-K, footnote disclosures and other ad-hoc reporting and disclosure requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal partners, including Legal, Tax, Accounting, Finance and Payroll. Provides guidance on executive compensation programs to HR partners.

  • Partner closely with payroll to ensure the accuracy of employee compensation changes

  • Provides work assistance to lower-level compensation analysts





  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree

  • Years of Experience: 8 years or more

  • Supervisory Experience: 2 years or more

  • Executive compensation experience

  • Provides general supervision to professional individual contributor employees, immediate supervision to hourly employees; administers company policies that directly affect subordinates; recommends changes to department policies

  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments, and may provide guidance to other personnel

  • Works under general direction and supervision

  • Receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments

  • Senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation



  • Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative

  • Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions

  • Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues

  • Makes recommendations for new procedures

  • Deals with a variety of abstract and concrete variables

  • Works on problems of diverse scope requiring evaluation of identifiable factors

  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written to present complex/controversial ideas and recommendations in a clear and concise manner

  • Skills in counseling, consulting and negotiating to effectively interact with all levels of employees throughout the organization

  • Able to calculate figures and amounts such as commissions, proportions, percentages; apply concepts of basic math and statistics

  • Able to perform substantive analysis regarding complex issues and recommend feasible solutions

  • Able to create and assess comprehensive reports

  • Able to maintain effective performance and be flexible and adept at multi-tasking in a business environment that is fast-paced, constantly changing and where situations are sometimes ambiguous; able to help direct reports do the same

  • Exhibits personal initiative and drive for results; tenacity

  • Able to provide innovative recommendations/solutions; coaches and guides subordinates to be innovative

  • Ability to make appropriate judgments about prioritization and correlation between effort and value achieved from the effort; helps direct reports do the same

  • Knowledge about federal and state employment laws

  • A breadth of knowledge in employee relations, organizational development, compensation, staffing,  and training

  • Grasps business fundamentals; sound business acumen

  • Seeks to understands the business and client challenges, strengths and needs

  • Applies business analytics to decisions

  • Experience working with international employee groups is helpful
