SENIOR SUPERVISOR, HUMAN RESOURCES - APAC

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role works as a key contact in Western Digital Corporate Communications and global HR Communications for China and APAC regions and needs to well manage the team to roll out corporate HR programs as well as develop and execute local programs and activities.
Work closely with Corporate HR Communications and regional HRBPs to make internal communication plans, develop and implement communication programs to China and APAC employees.
Lead APAC internal communication network, effectively manage the internal communications tools and procedures, fine-tune and gating the content to ensure employees receive timely, appropriate and professional communications.
Perform as a liaison officer to maintain good communication and relationship with the industry park, and host external visiting groups.
Employee Activity and Engagement
Team lead for developing and executing the yearly employee event/activity plan (including annual Family Day and other grand site events), wellness program and employee hobby clubs, etc. to effectively support the business objectives and create an engaging workplace.
Facilitate HR team activities to support the buildup of an engaging and healthy HR team.
Diversity and Inclusion
Team lead for expanding the company’s culture through diversity and inclusion initiatives, including planning and executing annual D&I Awareness Month activities and regular activities, developing Employee Resource Groups and sourcing external partnerships.
Community Relations and Scholarship Program
Work closely with HQ and regional HRBPs to develop the community relations programs to effectively engage APAC employees to build the volunteering culture.
Work with local and overseas NGOs to execute volunteer activities (i.e. Rise Against Hunger, Earth Day celebrations, etc.) for APAC employees to showcase the company well in public.
Work with HQ to execute China Scholarship Program in top universities and maintain good relationships with universities.

Maintain the relationship with industrial government
- Requires BS/BA degree or equivalent with 5 or more years of related experience.
- The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people.
- A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team.
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent in oral English and written English
