ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Own the development and execution of China new category plan, which will typically include market sizing, competitive analysis, country selection, GTM recommendation, key partner identification / development, launch planning / execution, PR / media interaction and business management during the launch phrase
  • Act as an interface to the APAC product marketing
  • Evangeline partners of the new category opportunities; develop the eco-system where applicable
  • Own & accountable for the new category sales targets
  • Pricing & product strategy
  • Monitor the pricing and competitor’s movement across different sales channels
  • Make pricing and product/channel segmentation recommendation in accordance to the company product strategy
  • Pricing & product strategy as reflected in the balanced growth across consumer channels
  • Growth category growth, and target achievement
  • Reporting:The position is reporting to the Senior Director, Consumer Sales, China/HK

QUALIFICATIONS
 
REQUIRED:
  • University graduates, with a minimum of 10 years sales/marketing/business development experience, or which at least 5 years must be in managerial position
  • Familiarity of the technology and online markets in China, with hands-on experience of managing JD/tmall/chain stores
  • Excellent work discipline and ability to attend to details with strong numeracy
  • Experience in product marketing and familiarity of the classic product marketing process
  • Familiarity of the work protocol within US multinational corporations; excellent interpersonal skills and be able to collaborate in a complex organization environment
  • Ability to communicate in English, both in writing and oral
  • Experience in the technology business
