This position will manage the channel marketing in Mexico for Etail, Retail, Distribution, DMR and SMB- channels for Western Digital. The position will execute channel strategies as it relates to marketing and promotional expertise in order to drive increased market share and revenues of Western Digital and its brands of products by developing, implementing and measuring specific promotions and marketing plans. You will succeed by being the corporate expert on the B2C and B2B channel, the competition, the account-specific business drivers, our partners, and competitive & business trends for respective products. You will have the opportunity to create and execute best of breed programs and promotions that maximize partner and Western Digital benefit. The position requires a blend of abilities including understanding of the Mexican IT market; creative thinking on distribution channel strategies and programs; partner marketing; building and managing relationships with the Sales team as well as the Partners and ensuring programs are measured through key business KPIs and metrics.Specifically, this position requires the ability to:Define customer specific strategy for Western Digital including: channel priorities and budget allocation at various customersDevelop and execute strategies to extend brand awareness and drive top/bottom line revenue across all distribution channels in line with the integrated marketing plan and prioritiesServe as point person managing communication and project flow with all etailers, retailers Distribution, DMR and SMB accountsWork with Director of Channel Marketing & Sr. Director of Sales to define key account priorities, and go-to-market strategies to achieve annual goalsManage the team to Implement annual, seasonal and campaign-focused marketing programs across all entire top accountsManage content for marketing deliverables related to Partner Portals, Partner Programs, product launches and enablement activities.Work cross-functionally with Corporate, Product, Finance, Sales to align partner marketing campaigns with overall WD marketing initiatives.Understand marketplace dynamics impacting the Storage categories in the respective channelsManage key channel objectives for the brand and products with account teams and accountsDevelop a close working relationship with the Western Digital National Sales Managers, internal Marketing and Product Marketing teams, 3rd party partners, and most importantly the Mexican accountsLead channel events including Tradeshows, Partner trainings and events in the Mexican channelQualificationsChannel Marketing Experience – Retail; Etail; Distribution; DMR ; 5-7 years relevant experienceAdaptability and ability to work in fast-paced environmentStrong people management and organizational skillsBudget ManagementEffectively strategize, manage and implement plansAbility to manage multiple projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English and SpanishStrong collaboration skills - ability to effectively influence others in multiple groups and collaborate to achieve specific goalsBA or equivalent degree/work experience requ
