Description

  • Debug & repair CMP equipment using available tool log data, evaluating process data, using volt meter, etc.
  • Resolve line down situations and use failure analysis to investigate root causes of problems.
  • Collect data, chart and analyze information for equipment MTBF, MTTR and Availability improvements.
  • Oversee upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Conduct audits of maintenance PM's and insure equipment quality and readiness.
  • Keep current on equipment manufacturer’s technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
  • Supervise the Equipment Technician in formulating and implementing continuous improvement projects.
  • Identify and manage critical spare parts. Provide technical support to maintenance techs and other manufacturing organizations.
  • Define preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
  • Serve as the principle contact for maintenance techs and manufacturing operators in critical tool down situations.

 

  • Experience with CMP Equipment such as Strasbaugh, Ebara, DNS, Mirra, Chemical Mix stations, Chemical pumps. 
  • Be familiar with operating principals and technology of CMP. 
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and flow diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
  • PLC troubleshooting a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Windows Software (Word/Excel/Power Point), CAD or similar. 
  • Interact well with Equipment Owner technician, maintenance technicians, manufacturing management and equipment vendors. 
  • Ability to multitask projects and handle responsibilities that will affect the productivity and utilization of the equipment tool set with emphasis on material costs, quality and service from tool vendors. 
  • The candidate will have a minimum of 2 years related experience in a similar function.
  • BS Degree in Engineering or related field
