Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Our Legal Operations team is seeking an Analyst 2, Legal Systems to support our Legal and Compliance applications and tools.  



  • The Legal Operations team is involved in nearly everything the legal department does, with the exception of practicing law. This team enables each of the legal practice areas by delivering processes, systems, communications, and administrative support in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • The Legal Operations Analyst will work closely with other Legal Operations team members, internal stakeholders and external technical partners to support legal applications.
  • This includes gathering, understanding and identifying requirements; assisting in the configuration, implementation, and support of existing (and new) technologies and tools; and diagnosing and resolving technical issues.  
  • This work will be accomplished by working closely with legal VP’s, legal team members, engineering teams, third party vendors, and cross-functional partners.
  • The Legal Operations Analyst will support a broad range of business processes and related systems; collaborate with business stakeholders to define and document business requirements and work with technical staff to develop solution alternatives and use cases.    
  • This individual will participate in the Project Management process and will need to understand and apply appropriate system development methodology and contribute to the creation of project deliverables.  
  • The Legal Operations Analyst supports testing activities and project assignments; contributes to the overall management of System & Tools projects and risk plans; and participates in moderate to complex testing efforts.  
  • Must be able to provide general legal department support for assigned business applications; provide analysis and resolutions for moderate to complex system problem logs; works with business and technical staff to perform effective resolutions; support implementation activities; and participate in training support activities such as documentation and live training.  
  • This individual will gather, compile, interpret and summarize systems and business process changes. 

·       Last, the candidate must be comfortable working at the intersection of technology, law, compliance and project management.


Preferred Qualifications:

·       2-5 years of related legal and/or systems experience

·       Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent

·       Experience supporting Legal or Compliance applications is a plus

·       Project Management  Certification a plus
