In this position, the individual will help drive a relatively new initiative at SDIN involving Firmware/SW/HW development for product/component qualification, Qual/FA productivity improvement projects and establish modeling expertise for reliability, chip yield, EMI, ESD, etc. Will develop new acceleration techniques and analytical tools to assure the early identification of potential problems with new products, packaging, processes, and product reliability. Develop new reliability test methods as needed to address gaps in test coverage or new product technology. Define and execute effective DOEs to investigate failures and isolate at source. Makes recommendations for changes in the selection and application of components and systems, also may propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability.

 

Education / Experience / Skills Required:

Requires MTech degree (ECE or EEE) or equivalent from IIT/NIT/IIIT/BITS institutes with strong C programming/debugging and analytical skills.

Knowledge of any scripting language like Python/Perl, etc will be good to have.

The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. 

Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people.

Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
