Description

1)      Mission

To develop test program for SanDisk | a Western Digital Brand memory devices especially for BiCS3, BiCS4 and the future product support, which involves developing and maintain Wafer Test Programs, and to ensure stable wafer test production line in ATC, Japan.

2)      Outcomes

Outcomes-1: Operate wafer test equipment correctly and safely in the ATC testing floor.

Outcomes-2: Accomplish experiment for wafer test development, checkout for releasing updated wafer test program on schedule.

Outcomes-3: Maintain wafer test programs and do troubleshoot to fix various issues at ATC.

Knowledge & Skills-1: This position requires a BSEE degree or equivalent with 1+ years’ experience.

Knowledge & Skills-2: Programming languages such as C, C++.

4)      External Job Description

In this position, the individual will be responsible for Test Program Development for SanDisk memory devices. This involves developing and maintaining Wafer Sort Test Programs. The test development currently is done using Verigy V5400, Innotech Quest and Innottech/MJC Smart Tester BIST test systems. The position will also require the Engineer to develop some test interface hardware. Some of the other areas that this position will include will be: Test time reductions, program quality improvements, test documentation, comprehension of design manuals and data sheets, troubleshooting complex problems, using various bench equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, meters), interacting with other engineering groups.

 

This position requires a BSEE degree or equivalent with 1+ years’ experience in Test Engineering. This position requires the Engineer’s background to be in Semiconductor test development. This person should have programming skills and good knowledge of Test hardware. The individual must have good troubleshooting and debug skills. NAND/NOR FLASH memory test background is helpful. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
