- Responsible for planning and selling the company’s content solutions products and/or services.
- Grow existing accounts’ businesses and acquire new channel and customers in the territory, which may include retailers, system integrators, storage resellers, strategic partners or business alliances.
- Manage key channel and customers, and maintain top to bottom relationship.
- Develop sales strategy, forecast sell out and sell through sales volumes and manage sales processes for the assigned market to achieve sales goals.
- Grow storage addressable market and seize sales opportunities to grow market share in territory with assigned customers.
- Domestic or international travel may be required.
- Responsible for achieving the assigned territory’s Content Solution sales target.
- Generate and manage all sales activities and processes across assigned channel and customers. Manage sell out and sell through to achieve sales target and to maintain adequate level of inventory at key accounts and manage sell through.
- Acquire new customers, build relationship at all levels to identify new opportunities, work on proposals, manage and call on accounts, develop account sales plans, provide product information, conduct demonstrations and quote appropriate pricing.
- Grow existing accounts, develop account plans to increase revenue, margins and shares in each account.
- Influence customers’ mind share in order to increase sales and market share while maintaining a competitive position and yielding the highest possible returns on sales.
- Collaborate with regional sales management to present and negotiate contracts.
- Research, provide feedback and support new product designs that are specific to the territory’s success.
- Collect, compile and analyze sales related information, i.e., forecasting, competitive information, etc. to support decision making and business strategies.
- Work with and through other departments within company to ensure that all sales activities meet/satisfy all business and/or legal requirements.
