Job Description
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for the company's time and absence management system
  • Interprets and administers all aspects of the time and absence programs and policies in accordance with applicable labor laws and company standards
  • Provides extensive case management and coordinates administrative aspects of the cases and claims. Conducts/coordinates investigations into all reported compensation claims
  • Reviews hours worked and leave applications and prepares discrepancy reports, and follows up with employees, department controllers and/or managers on missing information
  • Reviews, approves and/or denies certain time reporting codes and leave cases based on documented procedures
  • Manages all administrative aspects of leave and workers’ compensation claims to include tracking hours and leaves used/taken and works closely with the HR Service Center and Payroll to ensure that employees’ pay is accurate and correct
  • Prepares a variety of reports for department controllers and managers to aid in the tracking of attendance and verification of pay. Assists in the resolution of pay discrepancies
  • Answers inquiries and provides accurate information and procedural advice on payroll issues related to time and attendance
  • Provides training on the use of the Time and Attendance and Absence Management System
  • Works closely with employees, department controllers to ensure that all relevant documentation is submitted for timely review
  • Maintains appropriate contact with employees on leave and coordinates all aspects of return to work for employees on leave
  • Conducts investigations of alleged fraudulent activity of attendance and leave cases and compensation claims and works closely with the employee relations team to identify, research and resolve matters
  • Produces and manages reporting metrics and analytics for attendance and leave cases and compensation claims and presents reports as requested or required
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or required
