We are seeking an Internal Communications Program Manager to run our global digital signage and communications program for employees. This role will manage the strategic planning, execution, content creation, and daily management of the employee facing digital communications program across all Western Digital locations worldwide. You will be strategizing and implementing different tools and processes to best communicate with employees in varying working environments from office to factory.

 

This position resides in the Corporate Marketing and Communications team and reports to the Director of Internal & Executive Communications.

You will be a key contributor to our editorial calendar and content development for corporate intranet, digital signage, and a weekly news roll-up.   You will promote Western Digital’s vision, strategy and priorities, and encourage active viewership across the company, leading to a greater purpose for digital signage. In addition, you will integrate Western Digital’s brand, vision, values and culture into the digital signage program. 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Management of the entire internal communications program cycle of employee facing and public lobby digital signage installations and content deployment across the globe.
  • Collaborate with regional and country leads to determine internal communications best practices, localization requirements and editorial processes at a local site and country level.
  • Develop news stories and digital content for display
  • Create videos and supporting webcasts
  • Working collaboratively with global Marketing & Communications in support of company-wide programs and initiatives
  • Proven experience working with teams across multiple countries, languages, and departments
  • Extensive experience with industry best practices in relation to internal communications digital programs.
  • Skilled in juggling multiple projects/activities simultaneously and meeting deadlines
  • Proven ability to influence without authority
  • Results/deadline oriented
  • Planning, controlling and reporting the projects with regard to scope, time, quality, risks and budget
  • Experience in the areas of digital signage, audio and video installations as well as professional displays.
  • Proven working relationships with IT, System Admins and basic knowledge of network infrastructure
