Description

  • Primary technical interface for pre-defined list of major accounts in the Media and Entertainment vertical
  • Solid understanding and ability to communicate Media and Entertainment workflows
  • Act as "trusted technical adviser" to customer base developing critical relationships with key stakeholders in the process
  • Communication and positioning of competitive positioning, strategic technical advantages, and value proposition of HGST storage systems into customer base
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Manage the "Proof of Concept" process through the customer testing cycle ultimately leading to system purchase
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas
  • Prepare reports on technical account status

Qualifications

  • Fluency in object storage and/or SDS implementations within the M&E space
  • Proven work experience as a sales engineer, stoarage engineer or other relevant technical experience
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Solid experience with CRM software – Preferably SFDC
  • Experience in delivering client-focused technical solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
